Always encourage your child to thank people who contributed to their success. Our site always encourages spectators and parents to attend golf events but adhere to the highest code on conduct.
The game of golf relies on the integrity of the individual to show consideration for other players and conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, irrespective of how competitive they may be that day.
Your child is attempting to play top-level competitive golf, and this is not the time for any coaching or offering advise. Quietly follow players and keep your expressions to a minimum. Please do not embarrass your child in front of other players and spectators or coaches. At the end of the day the most important and lasting lesson taught by participation in golf is the development of a sense of sportsmanship, an appreciation of fair and honest competition, and an attitude of courtesy and respect for fellow players, coaches, parents and spectators. Always encourage!
